Description:

Babutramine, is changed and explored based on Sibutramine,with the same mechanism of sibutramine, is an orally administered agent for treatment of obesity. It mainly becomes effective through the metabolin of its amine （secondary amine and primary amine）, its main mechanism is increasing the feeling of satiation by controlling the reingestion of noradrenalin, serotonin 5-HT and dopamine, however, it has no evident effect on the release of noradrenalin, serotonin 5-HT and dopamine. Study also shows that, this product and its amine activated metabolin have no evident prohibiting effects, such as choline-resisting, histamine-resisting, and monoamine oxidase. The weight-losing effect of Babutramine is more excellent than sibutramine, its side effect is smaller, and it can’t be detected.
